The Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition 2003 – 2018 is a 15 year old Highlands single malt from the Dalwhinie distillery bottled in the 2018 Diageo Distillers Edtitions series. This Dalwhinnie was distilled in 2003 and initially matured in American oak followed by a finish in Oloroso sherry casks. It was bottled in 2018 at 43% ABV.
Nose: fresh Oloroso aromas with malt, honey, peat, heather, spices and grapes
Palate: rich and spicy with malt sweetness, honey and grapes
Finish: clear oak influences with dominating vanilla aromas
